NBC's SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL- primetime television's No. 1 show -- continues this week when Russell Wilson and the first-place Seattle Seahawks visit Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers in a rematch of last season's NFC Divisional Playoff game. Coverage begins with FOOTBALL NIGHT IN AMERICA this Sunday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Seahawks (7-3-1) return home looking to bounce back from a 14-5 loss at Tampa Bay. Wilson has 2,468 passing yards and 18 touchdown passes, while committing just two turnovers, in his past nine home games. Since 2011, Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham leads NFL TEs with 5,707 receiving yards, and CB Richard Sherman has a league-leading 30 interceptions.
The two teams last met in last season's NFC Divisional Playoff game, where the Panthers defeated the Seahawks 31-24 on their way to
SUPER BOWL 50. Newton, last season's MVP, has 48 career rushing touchdowns, the most by any quarterback in NFL history. Panthers TE Greg Olsen leads NFL TEs with 790 receiving yards this season, and ranks second in receptions (58).

NBC continues its coverage of Thursday Night Football tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 1, when Dak Prescott and the NFL-best 10-1 Dallas Cowboys host Sam Bradford and the Minnesota Vikings. Coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. ET with Football Night in Minnesota on NBC.
Calling Cowboys-Vikings are seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play) and 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth, joined by sideline reporter Heather Cox.
Mike Tirico will serve as the host of the Football Night in Minnesota pregame show from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. He will be joined on-site by Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy, who played quarterback for the University of Minnesota and served as defensive coordinator for the
