Yahoo just unveiled two exclusive sketches of NBC's upcoming PETER PAN LIVE! set, from Tony winning designer Derek McLane. Check them out HERE!

PETER PAN LIVE! features three main sets: the Darling house, the Jolly Roger, and Neverland, along with smaller scenes for the mermaid lagoon, bamboo forest and the Lost Boys' clubhouse.

"One of the things that came up pretty early on was the idea of this big map as one of the big set pieces for Neverland," McLane told Yahoo. "That's the thing that ties it all together. It's almost a 360-degree environment so that the map is this kind of island that's surrounded by a giant, giant [back]drop that wraps almost all the way around. That's something that's completely different than what we would do on a stage."

McLane also described Neverland as "a beautiful place but it's also a dangerous place," an idea he used in his designs for the strange nature of Peter Pan's world, including the pink "Rose Forest."

In addition, the designer hinted at how Tinkerbell will appear -- "somewhere between a ball of light and some scribbles that kind of suggest maybe a figure with wings."

Always sought after on Broadway for his incredible sets, production designer McLane is an Emmy winner for his work on the 2014 Oscar telecast and was nominated for the 2013 Oscars broadcast. He also won a Tony in 2009 for the play "33 Variations" and has three other nominations. His vast array of credits include the revivals of "Grease," "Barefoot in the Park" and "Ragtime," and original productions of "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo," "Nice Work If You Can Get It" and "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical."

Allison Williams will portray Peter Pan in the highly anticipated PETER PAN LIVE on NBC, produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron and directed by Rob Ashford and Glenn Weiss. The 'Girls' star takes on the role of the boy who refuses to grow up and who is forced to confront the villainous Captain Hook, played by Oscar winner Christopher Walken when the J.M. Barrie's classic musical comes to NBC on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
