NBC's 'NINJA' Encore Wins the Time Period Among Big 4 in Key Demo

NBC's Wednesday rebroadcasts are tied for the nightlong win among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and are #1 outright among those nets in adults 18-34 and all key adult-male demos.

An encore / recap episode of "America's Got Talent" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 5.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) scored NBC's top 18-49 rating in the hour, excluding sports, since an April 8 "Voice" (2.2) and the network's top total-viewer result in the slot since May 20.

The "America's Got Talent" encore / recap is the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in total viewers and tied for #2 in adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and men 25-54.

A rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and ranks #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in all other key demographics.

For the night, the "American Ninja Warrior" encore ranks #2 on the Big 4 in men 18-34 and tied for #2 in men 25-54.

The "American Ninja Warrior" rebroadcast is up +9% versus one week ago in total viewers (4.314 million vs. 3.974 million for an encore in this same slot) and up +26% versus two weeks ago (4.314 million vs. 3.436 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.7/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
