MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD was the most-watched Sunday show this past Sunday, Feb. 19, according to Nielsen data. This is the fifth consecutive week that MTP is the #1 Sunday show across the board as well as its fifth straight week delivering more than four million viewers. The last time this was achieved was eight years ago (Dec. 28, 2008 - Jan. 25, 2009).

4.169 million total viewers tuned in this past Sunday to MTP, topping CBS' "Face the Nation" by +470,000 (+13 percent): its second-largest audience lead since Nov. 29, 2015. MTP beat ABC's "This Week" by +869,000 (+26 percent). Compared to both CBS and ABC, the network broadcast was the only Sunday show to grow in total viewers, gaining ten percent compared to the same Sunday last year.

With 1.322 million viewers in the A25-54 demo (the demo most valued by news advertisers), MTP beat CBS by +427,000 (+48 percent) and ABC by +429,000 (+48 percent). This marks a three-week high in the key demo for MTP and its largest demo lead over ABC in three years (since Feb. 16, 2014). MTP was also the only Sunday show to grow in the key demo.

To note, MTP rated for 49 minutes this past Sunday: 19 minutes longer than CBS, which continues to rate for only the first half-hour of its hour-long program, and ten full minutes more than ABC.

In the influential Washington, D.C. market, MTP continues to dominate as the most-watched Sunday show, outperforming the competition in both total viewers and the key demo. MTP has won every Sunday in Washington since March 22, 2015.

An additional 2.044 million total viewers and 526,000 A25-54 viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
