NBC's "Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show on August 30 with 3.218 million total viewers, continuing to top ABC's "This Week" for the sixth consecutive week. MTP has now topped CBS's "Face the Nation" in the key A25-54 demo for 12 straight weeks.

This coming Sunday will mark the one-year anniversary of NBC Political Director Chuck Todd becoming moderator of the flagship Sunday program, and the strong momentum of the program continues. The August 30th broadcast delivered double-digit growth in all categories compared with the same Sunday last year: +32% in total viewers; +18% in the A25-54 demo; and +11% in the A18-49 demo. MTP has now delivered across-the-board double-digit growth compared to the previous year for five consecutive weeks.

"Face the Nation" is rated only 30 minutes, despite airing as a full contiguous hour in more than three-fourths of the country. "This Week" was rated for just 35 minutes of its hour-long broadcast this past Sunday.

MTP continues to be the leading Sunday show in the influential Washington, D.C. market, winning in total viewers for every broadcast since April 19 of this year.

MTP delivered an additional 1.043 million total viewers and 341,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the NBC network and on MSNBC.
