NBC's MEET THE PRESS Delivers Biggest Audience in Over Two Months
The Sunday, June 29 edition of "Meet the Press with David Gregory" drew the NBC broadcast's biggest total viewer and A25-54 viewer audiences in over two months, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
The NBC program was the only public affairs broadcast to post week-to-week growth, up +9% in total viewers and +17% in rating A25-54 compared to the previous week.
In the final week of 2Q'14, MTP was also the only broadcast to outperform its quarter average in total viewers (+9%), W/A18-49 (+50%/+25%), and rating W/A25-54 (+60%/+17%).
SUNDAY, JUNE 29 HIGHLIGHTS:
MTP averaged 2.549 million total viewers, marking the highest total viewer audience since 4/6/2014.
MTP averaged a 0.7 A25-54 rating, tying This Week's for #1, and topping the Face The Nation hour by +3 tenths and Fox News Sunday by +5 tenths.
MTP averaged 822,000 viewers A25-54, marking its highest delivery since 3/30/14 and topping the Face The Nation hour by +388,000 and Fox News Sunday by +532,000.
MTP also beat the Face The Nation half hour average by +1 tenth and +163,000 viewers in the key demo.
In total viewers, MTP led the Face The Nation hour by +28% (+560,000) and Fox News Sunday by +171% (+1,523,000).
Year-over-year, MTP was up +3% in total viewers and by at least double-digit percentages across all 18-49 and 25-54 demo ratings.
MTP drew an additional 1,111,000 total viewers and 430,000 viewers A25-54 with rebroadcasts.
MTP averaged 2.354 million total viewers and 686,000 viewers A25-54.
In total viewers, MTP led the Face The Nation hour by +4% (+100,000) and Fox News Sunday by +105% (+1,208,000).
MTP averaged a 0.6 rating A25-54, beating the Face The Nation hour by +1 tenth and Fox News Sunday +3 tenths.
Among A25-54 viewers, topped the Face The Nation hour by +16% (+93,000) and Fox News Sunday by +94% (+333,000).
