NBC's AQUARIUS Captures a Season High in Key 18-49 Demo

NBC's AQUARIUS (0.5/2 in 18-49, 1.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Earns a season-high rating in 18-49. Matches its highest 18-49 rating since Thursday, June 25, 2015 (0.6). Is up 0.1 of a point or +25% week to week in 18-49 (0.5 vs. 0.4) and up +2% in total viewers (1.843 million vs. 1.736 million).

Tops its final five telecasts from last season, which aired on Saturday nights, in both 18-49 and total viewers.

Is matching where it left off last summer with its final three Thursday telecasts (0.5 vs. a 0.5 average from June 25 through July 9, 2015).

Will increase substantially via time-shifting and VOD - the prior week's, "Aquarius" grew by +28% in 18-49 (0.30 to 0.50) and 576,000 viewers overall (1.7 million to 2.3 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

"Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
Maintains 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9) to equal its high rating to date in this slot when following a "Spartan" encore). Is close to rounding up to a 1.0 (currently reporting a 0.94 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).

Builds on last night's lead-in by +13% in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.8 for an 8 p.m. "Spartan" encore) and +29% in men 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.7).

Will add viewers via time-shifting and VOD: The prior week's "Spartan" grew by +16% in 18-49 (0.85 to 0.99) and 364,000 viewers overall (3.2 million to 3.5 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

Upscale: "Spartan" is generating a significant upscale audience, indexing at a 114 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes).

An encore telecast of "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (0.8/4 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET): Maintains 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8) and is currently up in total viewers (2.941 million vs. 2.904 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.1/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

In Late-Night Official Nationals for Wednesday Night: From 11:35 p.m.-12:35 a.m. ET: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," a 0.91 rating in adults 18-49, 3.230 million viewers overall; "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 0.38 / 1.834 million; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.55 / 2.087 million with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged 0.41 / 1.470 million.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (0.36 / 1.397 million) beat CBS's "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.27 / 988,000 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged 0.22 / 751,000 with an encore.
