NBC's "America's Got Talent" (2.3/9 in 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): Ranks as the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and total viewers, topping such Wednesday telecasts as CBS's "Big Brother" and ABC's "ESPY Awards." Scores NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in 19 months (since Nov. 12, 2014, 2.4 with "The Voice" and "SVU") and top total-viewer average since September 2014 (12.2 million for the "Talent" season finale).

"The Night Shift" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Sets season highs in 18-49 and total viewers.

Matches its highest 18-49 rating since April 2015 (1.4 on April 6, 2015).

Delivers its most-watched episode since July 2014 (6.358 million on July 8, 2014).

Grows +18% week to week in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.1 and +10% in total viewers (6.325 million vs. 5.743 million).

Wins the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in total viewers versus ABC's "ESPY Awards."

Ranks #2 for the night in total viewers on the Big 4 networks, behind only "Talent."

Ranks as the night's #1 scripted show on the Big 4 in 18-49 and total viewers.

Will grow substantially via time-shifting and VOD: last week's "Night Shift" grew by +30% in 18-49 (1.11 to 1.44) and 1.5 million viewers overall (5.7 million to 7.2 million) going from L+SD to L+3, for the biggest L+3 lift of the night in total viewers.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.7/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.6/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.8/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
