NBC's AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR Ranks #1 in Adults 25-54

NBC ties for #1 Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and wins the night outright among those nets in adults 25-54.

"American Ninja Warrior" (1.7/7 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET): In adults 25-54, ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4. In adults 18-49, retains 94% of its prior regular-slot telecast (1.7 vs. 1.8 on June 20) and in total viewers retains 95% (6.192 million vs. 6.537 million).

Grows to a tie for #1 in adults 18-49 for its second hour from 9-10 p.m. with ABC's "Bachelorette" (1.9 each).

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this summer, "American Ninja Warrior" has grown by +26% going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 rating (from a 1.67 to a 2.10) and 1.2 million viewers overall (6.1 million to 7.3 million).

An encore telecast of "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET): Wins the time period versus first-run ABC-CBS time-slot competition (CBS's "Braindead" and ABC's "Mistresses") in adults 18-49.

Generates a +38% margin of victory among those nets in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.8 for "Mistresses).

Ranks as the #3 show of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49, behind only "Bachelorette" and "Ninja."

Grows +22% versus the show's prior original telecast (1.1 vs. 0.9 from 9-10 p.m. on Thursday, July 7) and +10% in total viewers (3.494 million vs. 3.170 million).

Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - the previous Thursday's "Spartan" grew by +16% in 18-49 (0.85 to 0.99) and 364,000 viewers overall (3.2 million to 3.5 million) going from L+SD to L+3.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.7/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.8/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
