NBC Universo Delivers Season Over Season Double Digit Growth

NBC UNIVERSO, the modern entertainment and sports cable channel for Latinos, delivered double digit growth vs. prior season among total viewers (+35%) and adults 18-49 (+36%) according to Nielsen. Season over season, the network has averaged 65,000 total viewers and 38,000 adults 18-49, where it ranks as the fastest growing Spanish-language cable entertainment network during Monday-Sunday primetime. For the 2015-2016 season, NBC UNIVERSO grew by double digits (+19%) during Monday through Sunday Total Day. Season over season, NBC UNIVERSO has delivered consistent gradual growth during each quarter of the season among adults 18-34 and adults 18-49.

NBC UNIVERSO's 2015-16 schedule has included season one of "The Walking Dead en Español" which finished as the highest-rated scripted entertainment series since network launch (76,000 adults 18-49). Original scripted-series "El Vato" its debut season with 43,000 adults 18-49 (+23% vs. prior 4-wk before its premiere (vs. 35K). Season five premiere of celeb-reality "Larrymania" in July averaged 95,000 adults 18-49, ranking as the highest-rated premiere (non-sports) since network launch, among adults 18-49.

On the sports front, Liga MX Final in May delivered highest average ever with 808,000 total viewers and tied for highest adults 18-49 delivery ever with 507,000. Rio Olympics performance positioned NBC UNIVERSO as the # 1 Spanish-language cable network from 4pm to 7pm, eight times among adults 18-49 and five times among total viewers during a 17-day stretch, marking its best delivery in the time period since its launch in February of 2015.
