In metered-market results, NBC Sports coverage of the NFL Kickoff game featuring the Carolina Panthers at the Denver Broncos, averaged a 16.5 rating, 29 share in metered-market households from 8:45 p.m.-midnight ET. NBC ranked #1 for the night in metered-market households and adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters.

The 16.5 is television's top metered-market household rating since the second Tuesday of the Rio Olympics.

NBC's NFL Kickoff Game tops a 16.0 rating in metered-market households for a seventh consecutive year (Not Including Digital Data).

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," (2.7 rating in households from 12:45-1:45 a.m. ET, 1.2 in 18-49 in the local people meters): Matches the show's second-best 18-49 rating in more than six months in the local people meters (since Jan. 22, 1.3 in 18-49 on the night of Winter Storm Jonas on the East Coast, trailing over that span only the 1.4 the night of the Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony on Aug. 5).

"Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5 rating in households from 1:45-2:45 a.m. ET, 0.7 in 18-49 in the local people meters): Scores the show's best 18-49 rating in the local people meters since Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 (also a 0.7 in 18-49).

Equals the show's highest 18-49 rating since November 2014 in the local people meters (since Nov. 27, 2014, 0.8 following a primetime NFL telecast, tying over that span only the 0.7 on Dec. 11, 2015 the night of the Rio Olympics Opening Ceremony on Aug. 5).

Matches the show's best metered-market household rating since Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015 (1.7).
