NBC Ranks No. 1 for 16th Straight Tuesday; 'VOICE' is #1 Show by Wide Margin

A two-hour edition of THE VOICE (1.8/7 in 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 by a +38% margin (with a 1.8 rating from 8-10 p.m. vs. a 1.3 for CBS' "NCIS" from 8-9). Wins the two-hour timeslot among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and every other key demographic. Grows +13% versus last week's Tuesday recap in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.6 from 8-9 p.m.) and +12% in total viewers (8.710 million vs. 7.760 million). Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - So far this season, Tuesday's "Voice" has increased by +25% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 2.52 to a 3.16) and +2.0 million viewers overall (11.1 million to 13.1 million. Upscale: Tuesday's "Voice" is generating a solid upscale audience this season, indexing at a 111 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

"Trial & Error" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 10:01-10:30 p.m. ET): Delivers more total viewers than the prior six "Trial & Error" telecasts (since averaging 4.2 million at 9 p.m. on March 28) Retains 100% versus last week's 9 p.m. telecast in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9) and grows +13% in total viewers (4.103 million vs. 3.641 million), pending updates. Ties for #1 in the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and men 18-34. Wins the half-hour among those nets in women 18-34. Will increase with time-shifting and VOD viewers - "Trial & Error" has grown by +28% in 18-49 rating so far this season going from L+SD to L+7 (1.19 to a 1.52) and more than +1.1 million viewers overall (5.2 million to 6.3 million). Upscale: "Trial" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 121 at 9 p.m. and a 123 at 9:30 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

The season finale of "Trial & Error" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 10:30-11 p.m. ET): Is close to rounding up to a 0.8 (currently reporting a 0.74 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings). Grows 10% versus the previous week's 9:30 episode in in total viewers (3.167 million vs. 2.883 million). Delivers the top total-viewer result for a night's second "Trial" telecast since March 28 (3.229 million at 9:30). Ties for #1 in the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 and men 18-34.

NBC finishes #1 for the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, marking the 16th straight Tuesday NBC has finished #1 or tied for #1.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.9/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 3.0/8; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.3/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
