The NHL Stadium Series began on NBCSN on Saturday night among palm trees and 60-degree temperatures at Dodger Stadium, where the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Los Angeles Kings by a score a 3-0. More than 50,000 fans filled Yankee Stadium to see the Rangers score six unanswered goals in a 7-3 win over the New Jersey Devils on NBC on Sunday afternoon.

NEW EPISODES OF NHL RIVALS, NHL REVEALED AND NHL Top 10 AIR THIS WEEK

NBCSN will present new episodes NHL Rivals, NHL Revealed and NHL Top 10 this week, starting Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m. ET with an episode of NHL Rivals featuring this week's Islanders-Rangers NHL Stadium Series matchup. The program highlights a bitter rivalry between the Islanders and Rangers spanning 42 years, examining how the expansion Islanders took control with four consecutive Stanley Cup titles in the early 1980's, and why Islanders forward Denis Potvin's hit on Rangers forward Ulf Nilsson will always be remembered by Rangers fans.

In addition, NBCSN will present a new episode of NHL Top 10, counting down the top 10 Olympic hockey moments. This week, up to 11 Team USA players and 45 players named to Olympic hockey rosters will appear on NBC and NBCSN.

Following are excerpts from this week's episode of NHL Rivals:

Former Rangers forward Adam Graves: "If you're a Rangers fan and you're an Islanders fan, you're so entrenched in it that there's no gray area."

Former Rangers forward Nick Kypreos on Islanders fans' '1940' chant: "That chant went through us like a hot knife through butter. It's the one thing that we couldn't answer."

Former Islanders forward Bryan Trottier on 'Potvin sucks' chant: "The organ still has a little song - ding-duh-ding ding, 'Potvin sucks!' - and it just goes on, and on..."

Former Rangers goaltender John Davidson on Denis Potvin: "The guy was a villain in our building."

NHL Revealed: A Season Like No Other, a seven-part docu-series providing an all-access look at the teams and players participating in the NHL Stadium Series, airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, featuring highlights from this past weekend's NHL Stadium Series Ducks-Kings and Devils-Rangers games.
