NASHVILLE's Aubrey Peeples Gets Cast in ABC Family-Drama RECOVERY ROAD

ET reports that Aubrey Peeples, best known for her role in ABC's NASHVILLE, has landed a role in ABC's new family-drama RECOVERY ROAD. Peeples has recently been making leaway in the entertainment industry with her recent casting in the new music-centric film JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS.

RECOVERY ROAD, based on the popular young adult novel by Blake Nelson, centers on a party girl named Maddie (Jessica Sula) who doesn't think she has a problem until she is confronted by her school's guidance counsler (Alexis Carra). Maddie is then forced to choose BETWEEN going to rehab or expulsion.

Peeples will be seen playing the troubled ex-girlfriend of Wes (Sebastian de Souza). Her character will be seen in present day and flashbacks, demonstrating the sharp contrast BETWEEN her innocent past self and her troubled present self.

RECOVERY ROAD has already started filming in Los Angelos and will premiere on ABC in 2016. The show will also star Sharon Leal, Kyla Pratt, Daniel Franzese, and David Witts.
