According to the Daily Mail, this year's Oscar's show is now planning a salute to movie musicals that could include Meryl Streep, John Travolta, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, as well as Samantha Barks. "I gather that Mamma Mia! and Les Miserables will be included, which would mean the involvement of Streep, as well as Jackman, Hathaway, Barks, and possibly Eddie Redmayne and Amanda Seyfried (who was also in Mamma Mia!)," the Mail's Baz Bamigboye wrote.

As BWW previously reported, the cast of the Academy Award nominated LES MISERABLES will be performing at the Oscars this February. The song that will be performed is still undecided, but rumors are circulating that it will likely be either be a medley, or one of the ensemble numbers such as 'One Day More' or 'Do You Hear The People Sing.'

The 85th Academy Awards will be presented live on Oscar Sunday, February 24, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood and Highland Center, and televised live by the ABC Television Network.
