NYC based theatre company Mississippi Mud Productions announces its first production in Lido Beach, NY located about 25 miles outside of NYC. The company produces Tennessee Williams' one-acts Moony's Kid Don't Cry, directed by Jen Danby; The Lady of Larkspur Lotion, directed by Daniel Capalbo, Jr, with Miss Danby as Mrs. Hardwicke-Moore, an early sketch of Blanche DuBois; and Interior: Panic, an early sketch of A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Edward Bergen and starring Jen Danby and Colleen Leone as sisters Blanche and Grace. EDWARD BERGEN (Director, INTERIOR: PANIC) has directed scenes from CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF and PUZZLED as part of the JACK AND JULIE PROJECT at HB Studios with Jack Hofsiss. He is also the creator, dIrector and producer of the TV show THE FIREHOUSE COOK. He has also worked with Jen Danby in Mississippi Mud Productions Yin and Yang Acting Tennessee Williams Workshop.

DANIEL CAPALBO, JR (Director, THE LADY OF LARKSPUR LOTION) has been involved in the theatre world for the last 30 years in various capacities. He is best known as an actor, but his career has also included directing, writing, set designing and being a stage technician. Academically, Daniel worked for 12 years as a professor for the Theatre Department at a private university. With Mud: CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, dir. TENNESSEE WILLIAMS (Playwright) won two Pulitzer Prizes, for A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE (1947) and CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF (1955). His other major plays include SUMMER AND SMOKE (1948), THE ROSE TATTOO (1951), CAMINO REAL (1953), SWEET BIRD OF YOUTH (1959), and THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA (1961). In addition to his two Pulitzers, Williams was nominated four times for the Tony Award for Best Play, wining once, for THE ROSE TATTOO. (His last Best Play Tony Award nomination came 16 years after his death, for NOT ABOUT NIGHTINGALES.)
