Meet the Full Cast of Broadway's THE CRIPPLE OF INISHMAAN, Opening Tomorrow!

The Michael Grandage Company production of The Cripple of Inishmaan, by Martin McDonagh, starring Daniel Radcliffe and the critically acclaimed West End cast, directed by Tony Award-winner Michael Grandage, began previews on Broadway on April 12 and will open tomorrow, April 20 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street). The production marks the Broadway premiere for Academy Award-winner Martin McDonagh's heralded play, and the first Broadway transfer from Michael Grandage Company, a London based production company set up by director, Michael Grandage and producer, James Bierman (both formerly of the Donmar) to produce work across all media.The Cripple of Inishmaan comes to Broadway following its sold out run last summer at the West End's Noel Coward Theatre, where it was part of an award-winning season of five plays produced by Michael Grandage Company.

In addition to Daniel Radcliffe (Billy Claven), the production will feature Ingrid Craigie (Kate Osborne), Pádraic Delaney (Babbybobby), Sarah Greene (Helen McCormick), Gillian Hanna (Eileen Osborne), Gary Lilburn(Doctor), Conor MacNeill (Bartley McCormick), Pat Shortt (Johnnypateenmike) and June Watson (Mammy).

The production features set and costume design by Tony Award-winner Christopher Oram and lighting design by Tony Award-winner Paule Constable. Composer and sound designer is Alex Baranowski.

Set on the remote island of Inishmaan off the west coast of Ireland, word arrives that a Hollywood film is being made on the neighboring island of Inishmore. The one person who wants to be in the film more than anybody is young Cripple Billy (Daniel Radcliffe), if only to break away from the bitter tedium of his daily life. Martin McDonagh's comic masterpiece examines an ordinary coming of age in extraordinary circumstances and confirms his position as one of the most original Irish voices to emerge in the second half of the twentieth century.

Gary trained at the Drama Centre London. Theatre: Three Sisters(Field Day), The Beggars Opera, Famine (Druid), Well Of the Saints (I.T.C.). Recent: Dr Faustus (Glasgow Citizens Theatre)The Kingdom (Soho), The Hairy Ape, (Southwark Playhouse),Buried Child (Leicester Curve), productions with the Donmar, Hampstead Theatre, the Abbey, Shakespeare's Globe, Royal Court. Film: Philomena, Garage, Eden, Veronica Guerin. He plays Fr. Quinn in the hit T.V. comedy Mrs. Brown's Boys.

Bartley McCormick

Stage work includes appearances on the West End, the Donmar Warehouse, Gate Theatre Dublin and Belfast's Lyric Theatre. He received an Irish Theatre Award nomination in 2011. Screen work includes Stand Off alongside Brendan Fraser, Sundance winnerFive Minutes of Heaven, Fifty Dead Men Walking and An Crisis, for which he received an Outstanding Actor nomination, 2010 Festival de Télévision Monte-Carlo.
