Good news for Maya Rudolph fans; she's coming back to TV!

As reported earlier by Deadline, Maya Rudolph will be back on TV in a comedy variety show that will air as a special after the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. Rudolph was last seen on the small screen in the comedy series Up All Night. After the show was not picked up for another season Rudolph declined pilot offers for the upcoming year and instead set out to make her own show.

The as yet untitled project has been in the works for months but details are just now being revealed. The show will be produced by SNL and former Up All Night producer Lorne Michaels whom Rudolph is well aquanted with after her 7 year stint on the show.

Rudolph recently came back on SNL as a guest and was very well recieved. She was last seen in the indie hit The Way Way Back.

Can't wait for the pilot!
