truTV is giving viewers the chance to catch a sneak peek of the entire first new episode of Killer Karaoke via the highly popular truTV channel on YouTube, as well as through participating cable, satellite and telco video-on-demand platforms. The winter premiere of the outrageous singing competition series - which will mark the debut of new host Mark McGrath - will be available beginning today, Feb. 18, two days before the episode is set to air on truTV.

"We have made some exciting changes to Killer Karaoke, so we want to be sure we give as many viewers as possible the chance to check it out through truTV's Youtube channel and video-on-demand," said Chris Linn, president, head of programming for truTV. "Posting an entire episode prior to its premiere is a first for truTV and a great way to build buzz around the new and improved Killer Karaoke."

Killer Karaoke hits all the wrong notes in the best possible way. Each week on this Twisted competition series - which the New York Times in 2012 cheekily proclaimed, "the greatest show in television history" - contestants attempt to sing songs while facing extreme and sometimes skin-crawling obstacles.

In the new winter episodes of Killer Karaoke, which begin on truTV Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), the stakes will be higher than ever, thanks to a fresh new format. Each episode will begin with six contestants singing an opening number, after which they will be ranked based on a scoring system. The highest-ranking players will earn advantages throughout the show, such as deciding which competitor goes first, or choosing what obstacles their opponents will face. But the ultimate goal is winning over the audience, who will be voting for their favorites throughout the competition.

When all is "sung and done," the top two contestants must face each other - as well as their biggest fears - in a final head-to-head battle. The singer with the highest score will then win the weekly cash prize of up to $10,000.

Inspired in part by Zodiak Media's international television hit Sing If You Can, truTV's Killer Karaoke created a great deal of buzz when it premiered in November 2012. The series is produced by Zodiak Los Angeles, with Tony Yates and James Rowley serving as executive producers.

Since 2011, truTV's Youtube channel has scored 187 million video views worldwide. Last year, the channel garnered extraordinary growth, with its average of 3.6 million views per month climbing by +15% compared to 2012. The channel also grew its subscriber base by a remarkable +184% over 2012.
