Malcolm-Jamal Warner Joins FX's AMERICAN CRIME STORY: PEOPLE VS. OJ SIMPSON

Variety reports that Malcolm-Jamal Warner has signed on to FX's upcoming cast of FX's "American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson". The project is from Ryan Murphy.

Warner will portray A.C. Cowlings, "the former pro football player and protective friend of O.J. Simpson, most known for his role in the murder trial as the driver of the white Ford Bronco in the infamous televised police chase."

The actor recently appeared on FX's "American Horror Story: Freak Show" and "Sons of Anarchy," He was also recently seen in a recurring storyline on the third season of TNT's "Major Crimes."

The 'Cosby Star' will join previously announced cast members Cuba Gooding Jr., who will play Simpson; John Travolta, who will play Robert Shapiro; David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian; Selma Blair as Kris Kardashian; Connie Britton as Faye Resnick; Courtney Vance as Johnnie Cochran; and Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark.

The 10-episode miniseries will be execcutive produced by Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Alexander, Karaszewski, Brad Falchuk and Dante Di Loreto.
