Tuesday night (April 22, 2014) ABSINTHE's "Green Fairy" Melody Sweets took the stage at Harrah's Las Vegas alongside the cast of the smash-hit musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET for a sizzling encore performance of Janis Martin's "My Boy Elvis."

Following the finale of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, Sweets was welcomed to the stage with applause from the packed Showroom. The audience cheered and danced along to the high-energy performance, giving Sweets and the cast a standing ovation at the conclusion of the song.

An accomplished vocalist and burlesque performer, Sweets debuted her first album "Burlesque in the Black" in 2012, showcasing her soulful sound and songs that may be heard nightly in ABSINTHE. Sweets is the sixth performer to join the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET onstage to celebrate the music of the production's era through live jam sessions. Previous entertainers that have graced the stage with the cast include Bally's Las Vegas headliner and one-woman vocal phenomenon, Véronic DiCaire, "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks, Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno, E! reality star Holly Madison and Broadway star Pia Zadora.

The Tony Award Winning musical, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET takes place on December 4, 1956, when Sam Phillips, the "Father of Rock 'n' Roll," brought iconic musicians Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together at the Sun Records storefront studio in Memphis for the first and only time.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET brings that legendary December night to life with the extraordinary story of secrets, betrayal, and the once in a lifetime celebration of four friends that is both poignant and funny. Relive the era with the smash-hit sensation featuring an incredible score of rock 'n' roll, gospel, R&B and country hits, performed live onstage by world-class actors and musicians. Melody has had music featured on MTV, VH1, A&E, National Geographic and more, on shows such as Celebrity Fit Club and PUNK'D. She is also the first performer in the history of burlesque to have produced, written & star in her own music video for her hit song, Slice of Heaven, now a featured song in the hit show ?ABSINTHE at Caesars Palace where she performs as the Green Fairy.

A lover of the arts, Melody has had the honor of performing for and collaborating with such acclaimed artists as STING, Biork, Moby, Alice Cooper, The Bravery, Marc Jacobs, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, Adriana Lima & Harvey Keitel, and is featured in numerous books including renowned photographer & author Henry Horenstein's new book titled SHOW.

This "Shimmering Chanteuse" has graced the pages of countless magazines and publications including the cover of the Sunday Styles in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Village Voice, Blackbook Magazine, Paper Magazine, Daily News, and a two-page spread in Penthouse Forum.
