Former HOUSE star Lisa Edelstein will seek out the help of Olivia Pope on ABC's SCANDAL, TV Line has reported.

Edelstein will play a new client of Pope's, sources confirmed today.

The actress has recently appeared on THE GOOD WIFE, ELEMENTARY, and upcoming role on Showtime's HOUSE OF LIES.

Scandal stars Kerry Washington ("Ray") as Olivia Pope, Columbus Short ("Stomp the Yard") as Harrison Wright, Guillermo Diaz ("Half-Baked") as Huck, Darby Stanchfield as Abby Whelan, Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins, Tony Goldwyn ("Ghost") as President FitzGerald Grant, Jeff Perry ("Grey's Anatomy") as Cyrus Beene, BellAmy Young as First Lady Mellie Grant and Joshua Malina ("West Wing") as David Rosen.

The series is created by Shonda Rhimes ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice"). Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers ("Grey's Anatomy," "Private Practice") are executive producers. Judy Smith is co-executive producer. "Scandal" is produced by ABC Studios.

Scandal airs Thursdays at 10 PM on ABC.
