NBC UNIVERSO, the modern entertainment and sports cable channel for Latinos, presents the fifth episode of "Top Chef Mexico," this Thursday, March 17 at 9PM ET/8C. It's a bug's life for the cheftestants this week in the Quick-fire challenge, which consists of preparing Aztec inspired meals with a key ingredient - insects. Guest Chef Joan Bagur and Judge Juanxto Sanchez evaluate the meals and choose a winner, who ultimately plays a vital role in the elimination challenge.

Last week, the competitors lived the sweet life with award-winning author Laura Esquivel and Judge Martha Ortiz who challenged the contestants to recreate recipes from the classic novel "Like Water For Chocolate." After all was said and cooked, the judges decided it was Andrea Martinez who should be cut from the competition.

Tomorrow, Diana Kennedy, the legendary authority on Mexican Cuisine, stops by the TOP CHEF kitchen and challenges the chefs to create authentic Mexican dishes worthy of Aztec Emperor Moctezuma using a variety of chili peppers. As if that wasn't enough, the chefs are expected to create two rations, one for the judges table and one for their newly appointed emperor. Nothing is as it seems, as the chefs soon learn that tables do indeed turn.
