Following the success of Laura Flores's role in "En Otra Piel," she now joins the previously announced cast of the upcoming telenovela "Reina de Corazones" including Paola Núñez, Eugenio Siller, Juan Soler and Catherine Siachoque. In her second production with Telemundo, the multifaceted actress plays a character completely unlike what audiences have previously seen before. She has transformed her image to play a woman with a dark past whom fate brings face to face with her vulnerability. Flores' character will develop around the glamorous world of nightlife and casinos, where mystery, espionage, conspiracies, intrigue, crime and romance unfold.

Originally from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Laura Flores had her first acting role in the 1980 telenovela "El Combate." Since then, she has appeared in numerous globally successful productions, among them "El Derecho de Nacer," "Corazón Salvaje," "Clarisa," "El Vuelo del Águila," "Marisol," El Amor Tiene Cara de Mujer," "El Alma no Tiene Color," "Gotita de Amor" and "Siempre Te Amaré." She has also appeared onscreen in movies such as "Dos Fantasmas Sinvergüenzas" and "Los Temerarios," and onstage in "The Vagina Monologues," "Bajo Cero," "Made in México" and "Manos Quietas." The versatile actress has successfully merged careers in acting and singing, with more than a dozen albums to her credit to date.

Reina de Corazones was written by Marcela Citterio (Aurora, Corazón Valiente) and is under the supervision of Aurelio Valcarcel, Executive Vice President for Telenovela Production at Telemundo Studios.
