LOVE & HIP HOP: ATLANTA Season 4 Premiers to 3.5 Million Total Viewers

The season 4 premiere of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Monday, April 20th delivered a 2.5 rating among adults 18-49 (Live +SD) and over 3.5 million total viewers, marking the highest ever season debut for the hit series. The season premiere was the #1 cable telecast for the day amongst women 18-49 and women 18-34.

At 9:00 PM ET/ PT, the series premiere of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: The Afterparty LIVE!" garnered a 1.8 rating amongst adults 18-49 (Live +SD) and 2.6 million total viewers. "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: The Afterparty LIVE!" was the #1 cable program in its time period with women 18-49 and women 18-34. It was the #2 cable telecast for the day with women 18-49 and women 18-34, after "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."

The two shows made VH1 ranked the #1 cable network in primetime among women 18-49 and women 18-34 on Monday night.

When combined with the evening's encore airings, 6.2 million total viewers tuned in to the season 4 premiere of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" on Monday night, and 4.5 million total viewers tuned into the series premiere of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: The Afterparty LIVE!"

VH1 also dominated the social sphere on Monday night as 134,700 unique tweeters sending 663,700 tweets made "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" the #1 most social show on all TV (broadcast + cable), with a total of 16 national trending topics***. "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" captured the seven top spots on the Nielsen Social Guide rankings for all TV for the day. "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta: The Afterparty LIVE!" also had fans fired up, with over 18,000 questions submitted for the #askStevieJ and #askMimi Q&A, and over 5,000 tweets sent as part of the evening's Twitter hashtag battle****.
