LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT Wins February Sweep in Viewers

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT was the #1 late night program in February, earning Stephen Colbert his first ever sweep win and delivering CBS its first February late night victory since 2010, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for the February 2017 sweep.

THE LATE SHOW averaged 3.02 million viewers, up +18% from last February (2.55m) finishing +5% ahead of "The Tonight Show" (2.87m) and +41% ahead of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (2.14m).

This also marks the first sweep period that THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT delivered more than three million viewers.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT, a production of The Late Show Inc., airs weeknights (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Stephen Colbert, Chris Licht, Tom Purcell and Jon Stewart are the executive producers.

Stephen Colbert brings his signature satire and comedy to THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT where he talks with an eclectic mix of guests about what is new and relevant in the worlds of politics, entertainment, business, music, technology and more. Featuring bandleader Jon Batiste with his band Stay Human, the show is broadcast from the historic and newly renovated Ed Sullivan Theater. Stephen Colbert took over as host, executive producer and writer of THE LATE SHOW on Sept. 8, 2015.
