The judge's panel for the third season of The X Factor is set to be officially revealed on Monday, but TMZ is reporting that Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio are in final negotiations to join the show, replacing Britney Spears and L.A. Reid.

Series creator and judge Simon Cowell took to Twitter yesterday to announce that the season 3 judges would be announced this week, posting: "We start x factor auditions in charleston on Tuesday. The new panel will be announced Monday. This is going to be an interesting show!"

After the close of last season of X FACTOR, it was announced that both L.A. Reid and Britney Spears would not be returning as mentors. Since then, Rowland, Reba McEntire, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Love Hewitt have been among the many names rumored as possible replacements.

FOX also recently confirmed that pop star Demi Lovato would be joining Cowell once again as a judge, while Mario Lopez will return as host. Khloe Kardashian was not asked to return.

The X Factor was created by Syco Television and is produced by Syco Television and FremantleMedia North America. Rob Wade and Nigel Hall are executive producers for Syco Television. Trish Kinane, Richard Holloway and Andrew Llinares serve as executive producers for FremantleMedia North America.
