Sources tell TMZ that ABC may be eyeing Season One AMERICAN IDOL champ Kelly Clarkson as a judge on their recently announced reboot of the singing competition. According to site, the singer has expressed "serious interest" and has already cleared her schedule to judge the upcoming auditions.

TMZ also reports that the auditions for the show will take place at Orlando's Disney World and possibly California's Disneyland, rather than taking place around the country, as had been done in the past. The new system will greatly cut down on expenses for the show, although hopeful contestants may now have to travel great distances in order to perform before the judges.

It remains unclear whether the show will air once or twice per week. According to the site, the network is considering a once a week format, in which voting results will be announced the following week. As previously reported, Ryan Seacrest will most likely return as host of the show.
