Kate Del Castillo to Return to Telemundo's DUENOS DEL PARAISO

Telemundo announces the return ofinternationally-acclaimed actress Kate Del Castillo in the network's upcoming super series "Dueños del Paraiso" (Owners of Paradise), slated to premiere in early 2015.

The network also launched an innovative multi-platform campaign in partnership with Facebook offering a first-look preview of the super series available exclusively on Facebook.com/DuenosParaiso. "Dueños del Paraiso" is an original Telemundo Studios co-production with Television Nacional de Chile (TVN Chile) based on a screenplay by Pablo Illanes ("¿Dónde está Elisa?" and "Alguien te Mira") and directed by Lilo Vilaplana ("El Capo") and Nicolás Diblasi ("Una Maid en Manhattan"). The new super series is currently shooting on location in Miami and Chile and features an ensemble cast of nearly 30 actors. Set in the late 1970s and early 1980s, "Dueños del Paraíso" tells the story of Anastasia Cardona (Kate del Castillo), a woman without a trace of innocence, whose life has been derailed by violence and poverty. Ambition lures her into the world of drug trafficking, transforming her into one of the most powerful women of her time.

The original production features a special appearance by Oscar® nominee Adriana Barraza, together with a stellar cast including Jorge Zabaleta, José María Torre, Miguel Varoni, Tony Dalton, Ximena Duque, Alberto Jiménez, María Elena Swett, Tiago Correa, Guillermo Quintanilla, Sofía Lama, Géraldine Bazán, Juan Pablo Llano, Pepe Gámez, Gabriel Valenzuela, Andrea Lopez, Ariel Texidó, Margarita Muñoz, Maria Luisa Flores, Yuly Ferreira, Ana Osorio, Jorge Hernández, Beatriz Monroy, Rachell Vallori, Alberto Mateo, Daniela Wong and Maxi Iglesias, among others.

Traumatized by the events of a difficult life and driven to avenge the BETRAYAL of her husband, with whom she was going to make all her dreams come true, Anastasia will find the wealth she always aspired for in her husband's illegal business. Her thirst for power knows no limits, especially when choosing her victims. Willing to do anything to defeat her enemies, Anastasia learns the harsh reality of living a loveless life and the many faces of betrayal.
