KATIE Wins All 5 Days of It's Debut Week in Ratings

Based on National ratings for the week of September 10, 2012, KATIE debuted as the No. 1 new daytime talk show, winning all 5 days of its opening week in Households (2.0 rating), Total Viewers (2.549 million) and Women 25-54 (1.1 rating). On average, “Katie” outdrew the debut week of “StEve Harvey (w/o 9/3/12 = 1.2 rating, 1.519 million and 0.8 rating), by 67% in Homes, by 1.0 million viewers and by 38% in Women 25-54. In addition, “Katie” bested the debut week of “Jeff Probst” (w/o 9/10/12 = 0.7 rating, 855,000 and 0.4 rating), leading by triple-digit margins in Homes (+186%), Total Viewers (+198%) and Women 25-54 (+175%).

Freshman “Katie” beat the sophomore premiere week (w/o 9/10/12) for “Anderson Live,” leading by 100% in Households (1.0 rating), by 94% in Total Viewers (1.313 million) and 83% in Women 25-54 (0.6 rating).

Overall, “Katie” finished among TV’s Top 5 syndicated daytime talk shows for the week in Homes and Women 25-54.

“Katie” is executive-produced by Katie Couric and Jeff Zucker and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Co-executive producers are Kathy Samuels and Michael Bass and the program is directed by Joseph Terry.
