Mothers will get a well-deserved spotlight in a new ensemble film from director Garry Marshall.

According to Deadline, Julia Roberts will star in MOTHER'S DAY, with Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Jason Sudeikis in talks to join the cast.

From a script by Anya Kochoff-Romano and Lily Hollander, MOTHER'S DAY "tells intertwining stories about the lives of several mothers as the title holiday approaches."

Marshall, known for his other holiday-themed films NEW YEAR'S EVE and VALENTINE'S DAY, will reunite with Roberts -- who worked with him on PRETTY WOMAN -- for the project.

Production is eyeing an August start.

Roberts last starred in the TV adaptation of Larry Kramer's THE NORMAL HEART and on the big screen in AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY. She will soon appear in SECRET IN THEIR EYES and MONEY MONSTER.

Aniston last appeared on the big screen in HORRIBLE BOSSES 2 and CAKE and will soon be seen in MEAN MOMS.

Hudson's GOOD PEOPLE hit theaters last year. Her upcoming projects include ROCK THE KASBAH and DEEPWATER HORIZON.

And last but not least, Jason Sudeikis recently starred in HORRIBLE BOSSES 2, SLEEPING WITH OTHER PEOPLE and TUMBLEDOWN and has FLETCH WON, MASTERMINDS, THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA, RACE and ANGRY BIRDS in the queue.
