Josh Gad's Political Comedy Picked Up by NBC

According to the Hollywood Reporter, NBC has just picked up a new comedy pilot from Tony nominee Josh Gad. Titled 1600 Penn, the pilot is about 'a dysfunctional family that just happens to live at the most famous address in America.' Gad will executive produce the project along with Jon Lovett and Jason Winer.

In addition to starring in THE BOOK OF MORMON on Broadway, Gad is a correspondent on The Daily Show.
