According to The Hollywood Reporter, Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt will reunite with their 50/50 director Jonathan Levine for yet-to-be titled Christmas comedy from Sony Pictures. Production on the romp is set to begin this summer.

According to the trade, "the film revolves around three childhood best friends who reunite in New York City for their annual tradition of going out on Christmas Eve. Gordon-Levitt and Rogen will play two of the best friends, with the third lead role still to be cast."

Joe Drake and Nathan Kahane will produce the project through their company Good Universe (previously named Mandate Pictures). The duo also produced and co-financed 50/50. Rogen and Evan Goldberg's Point Grey Pictures will also produce. Levine penned the screenplay for the film.
