Johnny Weir & Tara Lipinski Headed to ACCESS HOLLYWOOD for Oscar Sunday Red Carpet Coverage
Olympic Gold Medalist Tara Lipinski and three-time U.S. figure skating champion and Olympian Johnny Weir had just as much fun coordinating their outfits together as they did as ice skating commentators for NBC at the Winter Games in Sochi Russia. And now the pair is headed straight from Sochi to Hollywood, joining Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, Shaun Robinson and Liz Hernandez on Oscar Sunday to report on one of the most talked about parts of the night....the fashion.
When they weren't busy with their commentating duties for NBC, the pair showed off their playful side to "Access Hollywood" and the viewers noticed and loved it. From watching the two compromise on their wardrobe style to their funny banter, Weir and Lipinski definitely put the fun in fashion. Although the pair has been going non-stop, there is no rest for the weary here. Keeping the excitement going following the Winter Games, the pair heads to Los Angeles where they will certainly be well matched with the Access' team who provides viewers with the latest Hollywood news, in-depth celebrity interviews, and behind-the-scenes accounts of the most important events in Hollywood.
"We are so pleased to be able to give our viewers more of must see tv with Johnny and Tara. The duo lit up the Olympic Games and will light up the red carpet at the Oscars. I am very certain no show will have more fun with Oscar Style than Access Hollywood," said Executive Producer Rob Silverstein.
"I am honored and so excited to be a part of the team for Access Hollywood's Oscar coverage. There is no time that LA shines brighter than during the Oscar's and I hope to bring my own special brand of sparkle to the broadcast. I am so privileged to work with my great friend, Tara Lipinski and together we hope to entertain America's pants off," Johnny shared.
"I am so excited to be a part of the biggest night in Hollywood. Johnny and I had such an incredible time working with Access Hollywood in Sochi and we are excited to keep the fun rolling," Tara added.
