TAXI-22, Gandolfini's passion project that started out at HBO, centers on "a politically incorrect NYC cab driver," who will be played by Leguizamo.

Leguizamo has a slew of big screen projects in the queue, among them A Conspiracy on Jekyll Island, Sisters, The Man on Carrion Road, Stealing Cars, Meadowland, American Ultra, 11:55 Holyoke and more. Among his recent film credits are Experimenter, Fugly!, John Wick, Anarchy, Chef, Ride Along and more.

The actor last appeared on Broadway in Ghetto Klown, which won him a Drama Desk Award in 2011. He was nominated for a Tony for his performance in Freak and has also starred onstage in Sexaholix and American Buffalo.
