Coming off his performance in the recent Broadway revival of Glengarry Glen Ross opposite Al Pacino, 'Scrubs' star John C. McGinley is now set to lead a comedy pilot for TBS titled GROUND FLOOR according to Deadline. The project will mark a reunion for the actor with Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence.

The mutli-camera comedy will be written by Lawrence and Greg Malins and be directed by Gail Mancuso. Set in the world of corporate America the story will follow "a 29-year-old successful alpha male who crosses paths with his company's support staff, a tight-knit group of truly happy and care-free people." McGinley will portray boss, 'Mr. Mansfield.'

Commented Lawrence on McGinley's casting, "I'd kill to work with John on anything!"

McGinley is most notable for his roles as Perry Cox (Percival Ulysses Cox) in Scrubs, Bob Slydell in Office Space, Sergeant REd O'Neill in Oliver Stone's Platoon and Marv in Stone's Wall Street. He starred in the Broadway production of REQUIEM FOR A HEAVYWEIGHT in 1985. -
