Jodi Davis Named Bravo's VP, Communications

Bravo Media has appointed Jodi Davis to the position of Vice President, Communications, effective today. In her role, Davis will develop and execute the network's strategic communications in the areas of programming, digital and marketing initiatives. She will also oversee the team and implement publicity initiatives and build awareness for the branD. Davis will report to Jennifer Geisser, Senior Vice President, Communications and will be based in New York.

"Jodi is one of the best in the business and has spearheaded publicity campaigns for some of TV's most enduring and popular franchises", Geisser said. "She will be a great asset as we continue to promote Bravo's pop culture brand and as we launch even more innovative programming."

Prior to joining Bravo, Davis was Vice President, Communications for Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, overseeing the public relations initiatives for many of the network's hit TV properties and franchises including, Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants, iCarly, Victorious and The Fresh Beat Band, among many others. She also spearheaded the media relations efforts for Nickelodeon's digital networks, Nick Jr., TeenNick and Nicktoons. Davis planned and executed media strategies for program and property launches, junkets and network events including the Kids' Choice Awards, the TeenNick Halo Awards, Upfront, TCA and off-channel marketing initiatives. In addition, Davis partnered with Sony/Columbia Records to generate press for all music initiatives tied to Nickelodeon TV properties and partnered with the international press team and all internal departments to generate and maximize press opportunities.

Prior to Nickelodeon, she ran her own PR consulting firm and was instrumental in launching and branding Comedy Central where she was Director, Communications for seven years. She also launched MTV Asia in Hong Kong and held positions at VH1 and Dan Klores & Associates. Davis graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism.
