BRIDGEND, writer/director Jeppe Ronde's outstanding, startling thriller that took The Tribeca Film Festival by storm, will open in New York on: Friday, May 6 at The Cinema Village (22 E. 12th St., New York, NY 10003) and Online on Fandor.

"Bridgend" stars Hannah Murray ("Games of Thrones," "Dark Shadows") in a superb performance that won her The Best Actress Prize at The Tribeca Film Festival. "Bridgend" follows Sara (Murray) whose move to an ominous small town has frightening consequences to her mentality.

"Bridgend" follows young Sara (Murray) who accompanies her policeman dad, Dave (Steven Waddington) who is sent to the eponymous small town to investigate a mysterious rash of suicides among its teen inhabitants. At first Sara has trouble fitting in as the NEW GIRL while Dave's efforts to uncover the source of the tragedies are strangely rebuffed by the both village teens and adults. When Sara becomes infatuated with a dangerous local (Josh O'Connor), she finds herself BECOMING engulfed in a dark and strange world that threatens to tear apart not only her relationship with her father, but her sanity as well.
