Jennifer Garner May Join Steve Carell for Disney's ALEXANDER AND THE...VERY BAD DAY

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Garner has officially entered negotiations to star alongside Steve Carell in Disney's upcoming adaptation of the classic 1972 children's book ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY.

Miguel Arteta is set to direct, with Shawn Levy and Dan Levine producing via 21 Laps.

The children's book, written by Judith Viors, follows the story of a young boy, Alexander, who comes to realize that everyone is capable of having awful days - when he wishes his family would experience the same hurt he does.

Carell has already joined the project as the boy's father. Should she accept, Garner would take on the role of his mother.
