Deadline has announced that CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM's Jeff Garlin has signed on for Adam Goldberg's upcoming 1980s pilot for ABC, entitled HOW THE HELL AM I NORMAL.

Garlin will star alongside BRIDESMAIDS' Wendi McLendon-Covey in the show, inspired by Goldberg's childhood as part of a messed up, but equally loving family. Garlin will play the father of the 'Gold' clan, 'Murray,' a hot-tempered rage-aholic. McLendon-Covey is set to play the matriarch of the family, 'Beverly Gold,' a hyper-emotional shopaholic with no sense of boundaries and a big mouth.

The single-camera comedy pilot is being directed by Seth Gordon and written by Goldberg.
