Showbiz411 reports exclusively that Jamie Foxx is set to make his directorial debut in the upcoming feature film ALL STAR WEEKEND. The Oscar winner has been working on the script for quite a while.

Originally, the film was to focus on two basketball superfans, one who supported LeBron James and the other who favored Kobe Bryant. Since that time, an updated script is in place featuring Steph Curry in place of James. Reportedly, the players appear in the film.

In addition, the site reports that FOXX may have written the theme song for the film, and may even perform it. A soundtrack is planned for Epic Records. FOXX's smooth vocals can now be heard on Barbra Streisand's latest album "Encore", on which he performs a duet of "Climb Every Mountain" with the legendary singer.
