James Wolk Joins Robin Williams for CBS Comedy Pilot CRAZY ONES

James Wolk, who recently appearded in USA's POLITICAL ANIMALS, has officially signed on to join Robin Williams in CBS' upcoming comedy pilot CRAZY ONES.

The pilot is a half-hour comedy, produced and written by David E. Kelley, and will be directed by Jason Winer of Modern Family fame. The show is described as a "father/daughter workplace comedy set in the world of advertising," according to TV Line.

Wolk is set to play Zach Cropper, a copywriter at the advertising agency. Cropper is officially described as: "he is George Clooney - cool, only better looking." Wolk previously appeard on Fox's drama LONE STAR.

Bill D'Elia, Winer, Dean Lorey, John Montgomery, and Mark Teitelbaum will serve as executive producers.

Williams, The Oscar, Emmy and Grammy Award-winning actor made his Broadway acting debut in BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO, having previously appeared Off-Broadway opposite Steve Martin in Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot" at Lincoln Center in 1988. His filmwork includes Good Morning Viet Nam, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poet's Society, Awakenings and the Disney animated film, Alladin. He can most recently be seen in the upcoming film THE BUTLER, as President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
