Inception Film Partners, LLC, a global film sales and distribution company engaged in motion picture and television sales, finance and production has acquired the international sales rights to the Alaskan adventure film "Wildlike" and will be screening the motion picture at the upcoming European Film Market, held Feb. 5-13 in Berlin.

"Wildlike" stars Ella Purnell ("Maleficent"), Bruce Greenwood ("I, Robot," "Star Trek"), Brian Geraghty ("The Hurt Locker," "Flight"), Ann Dowd ("Marley & Me," "Side Effects"), Nolan Gerard Funk (TV's "Glee") and Diane Farr (TV's "Numb3rs"). The film was written and directed by Frank Hall Green, produced by Frank Hall Green, Julie Christeas, Schuyler Weiss and Joseph Stephans and executive produced by Christine Vachon from Killer Films.

"Wildlike" was shot on location against the spectacular backdrop of the Alaskan wilderness and has become a fan favorite, having been accepted at more than 45 festivals across the U.S. including: the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Napa Valley Film Festival, starz Denver Film Festival, Naples International Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, Woodstock Film Festival, Austin Film Festival and SAVANNAH Film Festival. To date, the film has won four best narratives and two best director nods.

Jim Harvey of Inception Film Partners negotiated the deal with Marc Bortz from Preferred Content on behalf of the filmmakers. "Wildlike" will be screened during the European Film Market at 5 p.m. Feb. 7.

The film centers on Mackenzie (Purnell), a troubled but daring TEENAGE girl sent to live with her uncle in Juneau, Alaska. She longs for her struggling, absent mother, but as her mom's phone calls become less frequent and her uncle's care is not what it seems, she must flee. Her only thoughts are to escape her uncle's grasp and contact her mother somehow, but as she plunges deeper into the Alaskan interior she is suddenly helplessly alone. A chance connection with a loner backpacker, Rene Bartlett (Greenwood), proves to be her only lifeline. As Mackenzie shadows Bartlett across the last frontier, she thwarts his efforts to cut her loose until Bartlett has no choice but to help her survive in the wilderness. Against the backdrop of a spectacular Alaska landscape, they discover the redemptive power of friendship. Mackenzie and Bartlett prove to be the unlikely salve for each other's scars, until the damage Mackenzie carries with her threatens to destroy her newfound sanctuary. Returning to civilization, Mackenzie is once again at risk of capture by her uncle as he hounds with manipulative calls and messages. When Bartlett finally discovers her alarming secret, he must make a bold choice to take real responsibility for Mackenzie and help her escape her traumatic past and return home.
