Iconic T-Shirt Sales to Benefit Farrah Fawcett Foundation

According to ETonline.com, retail chain Urban Outfitters will be selling a T-shirt with the 1970's iconic Farrah Fawcett pose in a one-piece red bathing suit. Part of the proceeds from the sale of the T-shirt will go to the Farrah Fawcett Foundation.

Commented Alana Stewart, close friend and President of the Foundation, "Our mission is to carry out Farrah's wishes by helping to fund cutting-edge research as well as to help people who are struggling with this disease today."

Fawcett was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, and died on June 25. 2009 after a long struggle with the disease. She was 62 years old.

The T-shirt, which retails for $24, is available at all Urban Outfitters stores and also for purchase online at www.urbanoutfitters.com.
