The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen have announced an upcoming series of reports showcasing many of the important places and artifacts related to the Civil War.

In Focus with Martin Sheen is an independently produced television program appearing in markets around the country on public television. The show is hosted by the legendary Martin Sheen. Mr. Sheen has appeared in more than 60 feature films and is widely regarded as one of the most recognizable faces in American entertainment. In Focus with Martin Sheen is committed to bringing viewers some of the most important topics in American culture including the remnants of the Civil War.

Between 1861 and 1865, the United States endured one of the most painful periods in its history. The Civil War produced more than one million casualties and left the country with scars that in many ways remain to this day. The eastern half of the US is dotted with important battlefields and landmarks related to the war 150 years ago. In Focus will be showcasing some of these hallowed places along with memorabilia related to the war. The producers of In Focus with Martin Sheen will be working on the reports in the coming months.
