'Heroes' Adrian Pasdar to Join Cast of USA's POLITICAL ANIMALS

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'Heroes' alum Adrian Pasdar will join the cast of USA's upcoming six-hour drama POLITICAL ANIMALS. The actor will join previously announced cast members Sigourney Weaver, Gugino, Ciaran Hinds, James Wolk, Sebastian Stan, Ellen Burstyn and Brittany Ishibashi. The series is from Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark. 

Pasdar will portray President Paul Garcetti in all six episodes of the series. 'Animals' tells the story of Elaine Barrish (Weaver), "the divorced former First Lady and newly appointed Secretary of State who throws herself into the job after recovering from the dissolution of her marriage and losing the presidential nomination."

POLITICAL ANIMALS will premiere on July 15 on the USA Network. 

Pasdar, is best known for his role of Nathan Petrelli on the NBC drama series Heroes from 2006-10.
