'HOME EDITION' is Ratings Winner for ABC

With back-to-back episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition leading into a repeat Castle, ABC's Monday schedule topped Fox's broadcast of the American Country Awards 2012 by 10% in Total Viewers and matched the awards show in Adults 18-49.

The Net's Monday night delivery grew week to week by 17% in Adults 18-49.

Please Note: ABC's line up was preempted in Boston for local coverage of the Monday Night Football game.

During the 8 o'clock hour, the first episode of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was up over the prior week by 1.0 million viewers and by 44% in Adults 18-49.

Building over its lead-in at 9pm with viewers (+10%) and young adults (+15%), the second installment of Home Edition attracted a bigger audience than the second hour of Fox's American Country Awards.

Spiking 50% week to week in Adults 18-49, Home Edition posted the series' highest rating in its 6 telecasts on the night this season.

Increasing over its lead-in during the 10 o'clock hour, ABC's repeat Castle drew a larger audience than NBC's Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays special.

ABC's Castle rose sharply over its encore telecast on the same night last year in Total Viewers (+44%) and Adults 18-49 (+44%).
