HGTV.com is now accepting submissions for its 2014 Fresh Faces of Design Awards, which recognizes up-and-coming designers who have shown excellence in thoughtful and creative home design. Professionals can submit their projects for consideration at HGTV.com/FreshFaces. All entries must be received by August 31, 2014. Winners will be announced in January 2015.

Professional interior designers, architects, builders, remodelers and more can enter their projects in one of ten award categories. Categories include "Most Family-Friendly Space," "Best Use of Color," "Most Dramatic Transformation," "Best Space for a Party" among others.

"The Fresh Faces of Design Awards were designed to recognize the next generation of amazing designers. Consumers have used our website as one of the leading sources of design inspiration for years," said Vikki Neil, senior Vice president and general manager of Scripps Networks Digital. "HGTV is committed to helping our audience dream and create their ideal home. We celebrate the industry and designers who help make that happen."

A panel of HGTV.com editorial staff, on-air hosts and industry professionals will select six nominees for each of the ten categories from all submissions. HGTV viewers will choose the category winners by voting for their favorite projects and the panel will then select the top honor of overall winner from among the category winners.

The category winners in the Fresh Faces of Design Awards will be featured across the HGTV family of websites, mobile apps and in HGTV Magazine. The overall winner will also receive a guest editor spot on HGTV.com and a visit to the HGTV offices to meet with HGTV's editorial teams.

Information on the entry process, categories, prizes and guidelines can be found at HGTV.com/FreshFaces.
