HBO received 9 Golden Globe nominations, the most of any television network this year for the 13th year in a row, for the upcoming 71st annual Golden Globe Awards, which were announced today in Los Angeles. The Golden Globe Awards will be presented Jan. 12 in Los Angeles.

HBO's Golden Globe nominations this year include:

* 4 nominations for "Behind the Candelabra," including Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, 2 for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Matt Damon, Michael Douglas) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Rob Lowe).

* 2 nominations for "Girls," including Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Lena Dunham).

* 2 nominations for "Phil Spector," including Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Al Pacino) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television (Helen Mirren).

* 1 nomination for "Veep": Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).
