Golden Globe-Winner Joanne Froggatt Stars in STILL LIFE, Set to Screen at the Ware Center Tonight

The multi-award winning film, Still Life, a tale of community values, human connection and a life worth living for is set to screen at The Ware Center tonight, February 4, 2015 and Monday, February 9, 2014 at 6 PM. The Ware Center is located at 42 N. Prince Street, Lancaster.

Still Life, written and directed by Uberto Pasolini, stars Eddie Marsan (Happy-Go-Lucky) and Joanne Froggatt (Emmy Award nominee, "Downton Abbey"). The film had its world premiere at the 2013 Venice Film Festival where it won four awards: the Orizzonti Award for Best Director, the Pasinetti Award for Best Film, Cinema D'Arte e d'Essai award, and the Civitas Vitae prossima for Best Film.

The long-awaited Still Life is a drama about an introverted and selfless man that finds joy in helping everyone but himself. Being laid off from his position on the local council in South London to find the next in kin of community members that have passed away alone, John May (played by Eddie Marsan) sets off on his own assignment to search for the relatives of his elderly neighbor, Billy Stoke. During his journey, John learns about Billy's past and embarks on an adventure of life and regret.
